A virtual model of the Semiconductor wafer inspection system in Unit controlled by the generated code from Dezyne model

Dezyne is a model-driven software engineering tool used for modeling control software of physical systems. Dezyne is also capable of generating code that can be run on the system itself. However in the development process it is sometimes more efficient and beneficial to run the code on a virtual system which simulates the real physical system. This project provides a proof-of-concept for the possibility to control a Unity virtual model by code generated from Dezyne.

The delivered product consists of:

  • a server application which integrates the generated code from Dezyne model, executes it, and is capable to send actuator data to and receives sensor data from the Unity virtual model.
  • a Unity virtual model of a simple version of a Semiconductor wafer inspection system built originally with Lego
